Russia’s meddling in the United States’ elections is not a hoax. It’s the culmination of Moscow’s decades-long campaign to tear the West apart. “Operation InfeKtion” reveals the ways in which one of the Soviets’ central tactics — the promulgation of lies about America — continues today, from Pizzagate to George Soros conspiracies. Meet the KGB spies who conceived this virus and the American truth squads who tried — and are still trying — to fight it. Countries from Pakistan to Brazil are now debating reality, and in Vladimir Putin’s greatest triumph, Americans are using Russia’s playbook against one another without the faintest clue.

This series of three videos traces the use of false information by the Russians from the mid 20th century until now to undermine American and other Western societies and governments.. It shows how this "information" is created and distributed to distort the truth and create suspicion and fear in the U.S. See how other countries undermine this process and compare it with what the U.S. is doing.

Financial Times Video Review of the Brexit Vote

Inside Brexit: How Britain Lost Europe
Available through the World Affairs Council website
    December 05 - December 19, 2018
    6:00 AM - 10:00 PM

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqT1lneQ28Q

This 17-minute video was produced by Financial Times about two years ago. Now that Prime Minister Teresa May's Brexit plan has been approved by the European Union and faces a vote in the British Parliament, it seems worthwhile to support World Affairs Council members as they put the Brexit issue in historical perspective.
