If you are following the fate of the Iran Nuclear Deal this will be an important source. President Trump has just announced a plan to refuse to certify Iranian compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiated between Iran and the United Kingdom, France, the U.S., China, Russia, Germany and the EU and signed in November of 2015. In search of greater understanding of the issues surrounding this decisions, the Council on Foreign Relations hosted specialists to discuss: the successes and the failures of the JCPOA to date; the Trump Administration’s renegotiation strategy; and what the future of U.S.-Iran relations may look like in the absence of such an agreement. You will find this podcast very informative in that it covers issues not generally in the news.
