Join this discussion of how to maintain balance in a world where democracy  faces increasing challenges. How do we balance claims to freedom of expression against other rights, specifically in the U.S. & globally? Given globalization, what constitutes legitimate speech in a democratic society in the age of the internet? Join us for a lively discussion on these questions as they apply here in the U.S. and in their global contexts.

This program is free to World Affairs Council participants who  register by 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
