The fraught nature of US-China relations and today's political climate led the
NCUSCR to use a program model for the CHINA Town Hall this year that
fosters more audience engagement than is usual with a traditional
presentation by an expert. Our goal is to explore the nature of the current
U.S.-China relationship and the impact it is having on each country's
economy, political system, social norms, and future expectations of global power.

Both national and the local panels feature discussants with wide
experience and broad knowledge of the US-China relationship.
Answering your questions is a specific goal of the 4:00 pm panel.
